I’ve actually reviewed this in the past, but it was a few years ago. This time, we went because it is my birthday. It didn’t start well, as the staff claimed that they were full with hotel guests and had no space. However, on being informed of the special occasion, they not only relented and let us in, but also gave us one free order from the menu (in addition to the buffet) and a birthday treat. Overall, very pleasant. Nice bread selection (with enormous bagels), good choice of warm dishes and cold cuts, two kinds of fish, excellent choice of vegetables, fruit and condiments. The cheese selection a little disappointing and the croissants were good but not wonderful. Tea was bags only, of course. The menu included scrambled egg shakshuka, which was very nice indeed (coming with a fried egg on top, which was strange but good). Overall, still worth the original 8.5/10.
