I do not often fly First Class. (In fact, with regards to British Airways, I don’t think I ever will again. But that is not because of the breakfast.) However, for various reasons I did so on this very short trip, and since it is eight years ago since I first reviewed a BA First Class breakfast, I thought I should do it again. Last time, I rated this 6/10. Not so today. The fruit platter was nice, and the croissant was decent. The “mushroom and Gruyère omelette” certainly had mushrooms, but the cheese was absent until the very last bite. I do realise that it is difficult to make good food on a plane, but I still wouldn’t rate this higher than 4/10.
