I was rather disappointed by this breakfast. Partly, this is because I am spoiled by the general excellence of Swedish and indeed Nordic hotel breakfasts. (The average rating for Swedish hotel breakfasts on this blog is 6.6, compared with global average of 5.7.) This one was merely all right. A reasonable buffet, a few hot dishes (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans); nice cold cuts and cheeses, a good choice of bread. A special section with gluten-and lactose-free food. On the negative side, the tea was (of course) bags only and a very limited choice at that. Some of the bread rolls were cold and gave the distinct impression of being defrosted. The scrambled eggs were cold and so were the pancakes. The fruit choice was quite limited. In the end, I and my guests agreed on a rating of 5/10. In other words, a perfectly fine average hotel breakfast. But in Sweden, it should’ve been much better.
