Motel One, Dublin, Ireland, 30 March 2025

A mixed bag. The two main negatives are no warm dishes (except a basket of hard boiled eggs) and very weak in terms of fruit. The latter is the more surprising since the hotel proudly talks about the “many organic and fair trade products” they offer at breakfast. On the positive side, nice choice of very good bread (although the croissants are rather soft) and a decent choice of cold cuts and Irish cheeses. Good provision for vegans and for gluten-intolerant guests. Tea is bags only. All in all, not bad, but equally, nothing special. Add that the breakfast buffet area was rather small and narrow and therefore quickly could become crowded, and that there was no natural flow between the stations, and the final result is a somewhat disappointing 4/10.
