Once again, a non-hotel breakfast. However, this was not only recommended, but also next door to where I lived from 1977 to 1980, and again from 1982 to 1988. So I obviously had to try it out. The pastries (which we didn’t have!) certainly looked amazing. The scrambled eggs were nice, but nothing special, although serving it with a Croque Monsieur was interesting. The bread was good (as it should be), but again, nothing special. And the room was a bit shabby, to be honest. All in all, nice enough, but no more than 5/10, maybe 5.5 because of my memories. The recommendation was certainly exaggerated. They should have kept it as restaurant Salzers, which it was in the old days.
