Another nice buffet. Primarily Western and Vietnamese, but with dashes of Indian and Chinese as well. An egg bar, of course, phở, of course. Good choice of vegetables and very good choice of fresh fruit. The bread is excellent, although the croissants were not quite top notch. Nice choice of cold cuts and cheeses as well and good spread of desserts. A special table with gluten-free products. On the negative side, the tea was bags only – of course. And I don’t think a hotel of this class should offer little plastic packs of butter. On the plus side, I bumped into an old friend who was in Hanoi on business and we’re meeting for dinner tonight. This was even more of a remarkable coincidence as we were planning to try another hotel and he usually doesn’t stay in this one. Anyway, overall mark, 8.5/10, a very good grade.
